Data Protection & Privacy Notice
In keeping with Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, 2020,
Republic Enterprises Ltd., the entity responsible for processing
your personal information for Republic Weekend media accreditation,
will collect and use the information submitted through this form
to assess applications, coordinate approved media access and
communicate about coverage arrangements.
Information may be shared with authorised PR, accreditation
and event operations personnel, including security personnel
where necessary to verify approved access. Only information
needed for these purposes will be shared.
Personal information submitted for accreditation will not be
used for unrelated promotional communications without separate
permission.
Accreditation records will be retained for no more than
six (6) months to complete event administration and coverage
follow-up, after which they will be securely deleted or
anonymised, unless further retention is required by law.
To request access to or correction of your information,
request its deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact
blackbutterflymedia@gmail.com. Requests to remove information
needed to process an application or verify access may affect
our ability to provide accreditation.
If applying on behalf of a team, please share this notice
with every person listed and obtain their permission before
submitting their details.
Accreditation Conditions
Submitting this form does not guarantee accreditation.
Applications are subject to review, and approval will be
communicated separately.
Accreditation is issued to named individuals and is
non-transferable. Access applies only to the events and areas
specifically approved. Additional personnel, substitutions
and changes to coverage arrangements must be approved by the
organising team in advance.
Approved media personnel must follow event rules, security
instructions and any communicated filming, photography or
restricted-area requirements.
Accreditation closes Friday, October 9, 2026,
at 11:59 PM.
